Coach Tony brings a wealth of knowledge and expereince to Hawaii Slammers SC. All of the players and coaches look forward to learning more from coach Tony as he leads our club into the 2013-2014 Season.

- Played 7 Years as a UEFA Professional Player in 3 countries: Bulgaria, Sweden and Turkey

SOCCER STARS HAWAII 2013

SOCCER CAMP CONCLUDED TODAY!

The Soccer Stars Hawaii 2013 Camp, concluded on Sunday afternoon after three grueiling days of 4 hour training sessions. The kids loved it! The camp was limited to 45 students, the coaches got to know each player and see their skills. Each player learned a lot from each professional coach.  They learned soccer skills, life skills, breathing excersises, nutrition and most of all they had FUN learning it all. 

This camp was hosted and conducted by our very own Tony Stephanov. Tony is the NEW Director of Coaching for Hawaii Slammers SC. Tony showed why he is perfect for this position. He introduced the kids to drills and skills like they have never seen before and at the same time made them work harder than ever while still enjoying the camp.  Coach Tony's staff included other semi-pro and professional players from Europe and South America, along with a Strength and Conditioning coach who tested the kids in their speed.

Thank you players, parents and coaches for making this camp successful for Coach Tony and his staff (coach Chava, Coach Phillip, Coach Yovo, and the other Brazillian Coach).

SOCCER STARS HAWAII 2013:

SOCCER CAMP

Our very own and NEW  Hawaii Slammers Director of Coaching Tony Stephanov presents his  "Hawaii Pro Soccer Camp 2013". The 3 day, 4 hour camp is moving along successfully! He has had a great turn out from a number of Hawaii soccer clubs. Coach Tony (former UEFA Professional Player & Coach) along with Coach Chava (former Mexico Professional) and other former European/South American semi pro & professionals are showing these boys and girls what it is like to train like International Professionals! From the warm up drills to the technical/tactical drills, the boys and girls are learning new and exciting skills to make them better soccer players.

Thank you players, coaches, parents & volunteers for a great day of Tryouts! We had new players tryout in every age group! We look forward to having some of these new players on our various club teams.

Lil' Hawaii Slammers Academy!

U4-U8 boys and girls. Let us get them started early. It is fun for both the kids and the parents! On going open enrollment. Every Tuesday at 5pm at Waiau District Park Upper field. Learn fast footwork, fundemental dribbling, and basic 1v1 skills. The kids LOVE IT! Call for more information!

OBSERVING & LEARNING from the USC LADY TROJANS Soccer Team:

This past spring break was a great time for all of the Hawaii Slammers SC players. In particular, some Hawaii Slammers SC teams and players (99G, 98G and 02G) got a chance to watch and learn from the USC womens college team. Coach Ali and the USC lady trojans womens soccer team was here in the islands for spring break & a scrimmage with UH. Our coaching staff and players got to ask all the questions that we could think of as well as get to know the coaching staff and the team. What a great experience for our young ladies. A special "Thank You" to Coach Ziad (Slammers FC & Hawaii Slammers SC D.O.C) for setting this up. 

A GREAT NEW BEGINNING FOR HAWAII SLAMMERS SC!

We are proud to be associated with WZK LLC, which is run by Walid and Ziad Khoury, Founders and Directors of SLAMMERS FC from Newport Beach, California. Slammers FC is a nationally recognized soccer club that recently won the 2012 ECNL National Club of the year award.

Hawaii Slammers SC is honored to introduce Ziad as our Director of Coaching. With Eight (8) Nationals Championships, 49 Surf Cup Championships, and 2 world championships, Coach “Z” brings his knowledge and experience to the islands to help guide and teach all of us at Hawaii Slammers. We look forward to seeing and learning from Coach “Z”.
